Alex Hardcastle is a television director and producer who has worked on numerous television specials, series, movies, commercials and documentaries in both England and the United States. He is best known for his directorial work on the American comedies New Girl, The Mindy Project, The Office and Parks and Recreation as well as his series A Young Doctor's Notebook starring Jon Hamm and Daniel Radcliffe. Hardcastle directed the musical comedy Crazy Ex-Girlfriend (TV series) for the CW, Grace & Frankie for Netflix and the comedy drama You're the Worst for FX. He recently completed directing the Warner Brothers / Paramount Network period drama American Woman (TV series) starring Alicia Silverstone, Mena Suvari and Cheyenne Jackson based on the life of Kyle Richards. 2Career Hardcastle has worked with some of the biggest names in comedy and drama including Robin Williams, Steve Carell, Will Arnett, Rebel Wilson, Christian Slater, Amy Poehler, Louis CK, David Cross, Eddie Izzard and John Cleese.
