Amber Portwood

Amber Leann Portwood (born May 14, 1990) is an American reality television personality. From Anderson, Indiana, she received public attention after being cast in the reality television series 16 and Pregnant in 2009, which documented the pregnancies and first months of motherhood for several teenage girls. Later that year she was cast in the spin-off series Teen Mom, and appeared in each of its four seasons until its conclusion in 2012. In March 2015, Portwood, along with Maci McKinney, Catelynn Baltierra, and Farrah Abraham, returned to MTV for the fifth season of the show, renamed Teen Mom OG. 2Personal life Amber Leann Portwood was born in Anderson, Indiana on 14 May 1990 to parents Tonya Portwood and Shawn Portwood Senior. Portwood has an older brother, Shawn Portwood Junior. Portwood became pregnant with her first child with then-boyfriend, Gary Shirley, and gave birth to their daughter, Leah Leann Shirley, on 12 November 2008. Though Portwood and Shirley became engaged, they ultimately separated. Shirley was granted full custody of their daughter in December 2011.In 2014, Portwood met Matt Baier, an unemployed former radio DJ, via Twitter. The pair became engaged the following year, however, after multiple postponements of their wedding, Portwood and Bair split in June, 2017.
