Joel David Moore (born September 25, 1977) is an American actor. He is best known for portraying Owen Dittman in Dodgeball: A True Underdog Story, Dr. Norm Spellman in Avatar, Colin Fisher in Bones, JP in Grandma's Boy, Ben in Hatchet, and Lucas Wahl in the television series Forever. 2Early life Moore was born and raised in Portland, Oregon, the son of Missy (Irvine) and John Moore. His family resided in the Mt. Tabor neighborhood, and he is a 1995 graduate of Benson Polytechnic High School. He then attended Mt. Hood Community College in Gresham, Oregon, for two years.
