“For all the negativity surrounding prison, you can use the time to your own advantage. On the outside, you're too busy hustling to stay alive to take the time to analyze yourself. In the joint, all you got is time. You can flip it around and use the time to gain knowledge and gain strength. You finally have an opportunity to get what you should have gotten up front: an education. If you can load your head with the right ammunition, you won't go back. If your head is still empty, or your head still has a big question mark on it, you will end back in the penitentiary.”
