As a disabled black woman my hill to die on is proper media representation. So, when we aren’t given the respect we deserve & our stories deserve. When The person telling the story isn’t familiar with that experience, there are going to be real life people you hurt in the process

And also, as a result, the decision can further push negative ideals about the people being portrayed because the nuance is gone from roles in many ways, when we dismiss & ignore the real life people who live these lives every single day.
