“The argument against plastic bags and straws is fine, I get it. But in these arguments, disabled people are being erased, ignored, or talked over. Many of us need plastic straws because the alternatives don’t work. As for plastic bags, they’re easier for my right hand to grip.
I know the problems they cause but for so many of us, they are also a solution to help keep us as independent as possible.”
