Benito Antonio Martínez Ocasio (born March 10, 1994), known by his stage name Bad Bunny, is a Puerto Rican Latin trap and reggaeton singer. 2Early life and education Benito Antonio Martínez Ocasio was born on March 10, 1994 in San Juan, Puerto Rico. Martínez wanted to be a singer since he was five years old. He studied audiovisual communication at the University of Puerto Rico at Arecibo before leaving the program to pursue his music career. 2Career While working at a supermarket as a bagger, Bad Bunny also released music as an independent artist. Bad Bunny's song "Diles", on SoundCloud, caught the attention of DJ Luian who signed him to his record label, Hear this Music. By DJ Luian signing him, he was able to work with more well-known Latin artists. In the summer of 2017, Bad Bunny signed a booking deal with Cardenas Marketing Network (CMD) for several Latin American countries.
