Glen David Gold

Glen David Gold (born 1964) is an American author, best known for the novels Carter Beats the Devil and Sunnyside. 2Early life Gold attended Wesleyan University and received his BA from UC Berkeley in 1987. He received his MFA in creative writing at the University of California at Irvine. 2Career 3Novels Gold writes in a narrative style. His first novel Carter Beats the Devil (2001) received significant critical acclaim, and his second novel, Sunnyside (2009) was well received for presenting fully rounded, emotional characters. 3Memoirs Gold's first memoir, I Will Be Complete, was published on June 26, 2018 by Knopf, an imprint of Penguin Random House.
