Hadley Freeman

Hadley Clare Freeman (born 1978) is an American journalist based in London. 2Early life Freeman was born to a Jewish family in New York. Her father worked in finance. The family moved to London when Freeman was eleven. 2Education After taking her A-level examinations while boarding at the Cambridge Centre for Sixth-form Studies, she read English Literature at St Anne's College, Oxford, and edited Cherwell. 2Career After a year in Paris, she worked on the fashion desk of The Guardian for eight years. Freeman is a columnist and writer for The Guardian newspaper who also contributes to the UK version of Vogue. Starting in 2000, Freeman has occasionally written about her experiences with anorexia.
