Jack Gleeson

Jack Gleeson (born 20 May 1992) is an Irish former actor, best known for his portrayal of Joffrey Baratheon in the HBO television series Game of Thrones. Despite his early breakthrough on Game of Thrones, which won critical acclaim, Gleeson has stated that he disliked acting for television and film, and has left that profession since 2014. He currently runs his own touring theatre company, whose debut show—Bears in Space—premiered in Ireland in 2016. 2Early life Gleeson was born in Cork, Ireland.
