Matthew Kepnes

Matthew Kepnes, or "Nomadic Matt", is an American travel expert, New York Times bestselling author, and blogger. He and his writing have been featured in the New York Times, CNN, National Geographic, Huffington Post, The Wall Street Journal, and BBC. 2Background Kepnes was born in Boston. At 23, he had never left the United States. In 2005, however, he took a trip to Thailand. The trip convinced Kepnes to quit his job, finish his MBA, and begin traveling the world and blogging about his experiences.
