Michael Aronov

Michael Aronov is an American actor and playwright. 2Career Aronov is a Tony Award-winning actor that has worked in film, television and theatre. His most current project is starring opposite Sir Ben Kingsley and Oscar Isaac in MGM's Operation Finale. In the film Aronov portrays a real life Mossad Agent that was responsible for getting Adolf Eichmann to confess his true identity while hiding out in Argentina - eventually leading to the trial that convicted him for the murder of millions. The actor also spent three seasons on the award winning series The Americans playing a physicist that is torn from his family and exiled as a political prisoner. Most known for his role as Chovka, the Chechen warlord and head gangster opposite Tom Hardy and James Gandolfini in The Drop, his other films include Lbs., Amexicano, and Hedwig and the Angry Inch. In 2017, he joined the cast of The Blacklist as Smokey Putnum. The actor also played Danny Raden, a series lead opposite Larenz Tate in BET's original pilot, Gun Hill.
