Professor Green

Stephen Paul Manderson (born 27 November 1983), better known by his stage name Professor Green or simply Pro Green, is a British rapper, singer, songwriter, actor and television personality from London. He is the co-host of Lip Sync Battle UK on Channel 5. 2Early life In his early life Professor Green sold cannabis. Between the ages of 16 and 24 he smoked cannabis on a daily basis. Professor Green went to Gladesmore Community School, before being expelled at the age of 13/14. He later "forgave" them and endorsed their Everybdoy Dreams LDN tribute song in 2017 2Career 32006–10 In 2006 he released his first mixtape, Lecture #1. After his first record label, The Beats, went under he produced on his own an EP called The Green EP. After he toured with Lily Allen he was signed to Virgin Records and released "I Need You Tonight" featuring Ed Drewett, based on INXS's "Need You Tonight" through the label. He also joined up with Allen on his second single "Just Be Good to Green", which is based on The SOS Band's "Just Be Good to Me". Pro Green was signed to The Beats, a record label run by Mike Skinner and Ted Mayhem, until 12 February 2008, when the label terminated.
