Stephen Thomas "Steve" Skrovan (born March 4, 1957) is an American producer, writer, and director. 2Early life Skrovan grew up in Cleveland, Ohio, and went to Gilmour Academy during his high-school years. He majored in English and was a varsity football defensive back at Yale, where he graduated with a B.A. in 1979. 2Career Skrovan began his career as a stand-up comic. He hosted a short-lived talk show on MTV, Mouth to Mouth, in 1988. In 1989, he became the original host of Totally Hidden Video, which aired on FOX from 1989-1992. Starting in 1991, he was the host for the first two seasons of the game show That's My Dog on what was then The Family Channel. Skrovan co-wrote the 1993 Seinfeld episode "The Movie". He was then a writer for the CBS sitcom Everybody Loves Raymond, which ran from 1996 to 2005. Skrovan produced the 2005 TV special Earth to America, which covered environmental issue
