Tash Sultana

Tash Sultana (born 15 June 1995) is an Australian singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist, described as a "one-woman band". Her 2016 single "Jungle" was voted into third place in the Triple J Hottest 100, 2016, and Sultana also had 3 songs voted into the Triple J Hottest 100, 2017. Sultana grew up in Melbourne, and has been playing guitar since she was three years old. Her career in music began through busking, and she has been active as a musician on Bandcamp since 2013. Her recordings were viewed millions of times on YouTube in 2016. She released her first EP on 23 September 2016 and was booked on a sold-out world tour in early 2017. 2Early life Australian with half Maltese ancestry, Sultana was born and grew up in Melbourne.
