“Friendship depends on trust, not money, not power, not mere education or knowledge. Only if there is trust between us will there be friendship. Trust is related to whether we have a sincere motivation. If we’re serious about taking care of others, protecting their lives and respecting their rights, we’ll be able to conduct our lives transparently and that’s the basis of trust, which in turn is the basis of friendship.”
