I don't agree with the Google memo; I don't think it's really a free speech issue because he solicited it and directed it specifically to and at the people he worked with; I don't agree that there are sex differences in academic or professional interests. But repeated claims that no credible researchers study this stuff or believe in neurological sex differences are just not true. Lots of celebrated academics do. That doesn't mean they're right! It means simply waving your hand and acting as though these arguments don't need to be refuted is a terrible argumentative strategy.
