COURAGE I was fighting a few years of alcohol abuse trying to find my life when my sweet friend Sara gifted me my key saying Courage. She said she chose courage because I was courageously becoming who I was meant to be. I wore my key from the day I received it, never taking it off until the day I kn…

The Giving Keys
LOVE I work with the most amazing people and a very special woman I work with is the most generous, selfless and giving person I know gave me the key of LOVE. I am getting married next week and she has been wearing this key all week. I couldn't stop asking where she got it and what it meant and when…
LET GO My name is Sammie and this is my story. I'm 15 and originally got my key to help look forward to something I had a lot of worries and a lot of anxiety and wanted to get rid of them that's why I chose the phrase "let go". Recently my cousin died. She struggled with alcohol abuse, drug abuse, a…
HOPE Today I met up with a friend I haven't seen in over a year. So today we caught up on everything. She is going through one of the worst break ups possible. And I recently just a week after went through a break up. So I bought a hope key when I needed it. So seeing her today I saw how hurt inside…
DREAM My name's David and I bought a key last year. The word I got on it was Dream as I had some big dreams to fulfill and in the last year a lot of them have come true. I'm currently doing what I love to do and never looking back. Recently, some missionary friends came back home to visit for a whil…
COURAGE I bought a key for myself at a time I really needed to be reminded to have courage. I am notorious for being a people pleaser and wanting everyone to like me - because if they don't, then I tend to believe that I must be wrong or have done something wrong. My best friend was pregnant with he…
STRENGTH I bought my Giving Key necklace to remind myself that no matter what I've been through, with God, I have the STRENGTH to endure all things. MY husband and I have buried 2 children, our first a daughter at 1 month and the 2nd a son at 19 months. These were truly the hardest days of my life.…
Strength My best friend of over 11 years has been dealt a hand that most would use as an excuse to curl up in bed and stay there. She grew up poor and neglected as 1 of 5 children. One of her brothers was diagnosed and taken by cancer when she was young. She started supporting herself at 15 and has…
BEAUTIFULLY COURAGEOUS Tonight I had the honor of gifting a key to my friend Casey. October 1 will be the year anniversary of her 3 year old daughter's cancer diagnosis. Casey has been so beautifully courageous throughout this fight against pediatric cancer. She has raised enough money to bring musi…
TO INSPIRE I haven't been able to share my giving keys story on here until now, but since I have a little but if free time I thought I'd share it. About a year ago I received a key that said the word "Inspire" on it from a good friend named Britt. I used that word to help rebuild my life and to star…
Let Go And Inspire I paid two keys forward in the same day. One being Let Go and the other being Inspire. I used the word Let Go to get rid of the negative things in my life that brought me down and to start building up the things that are important in life. I gave this key to an old friend named Ha…
STRENGTH I was diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer on November 4, 2015. As I was recovering from a mastectomy, going through chemotherapy and radiation, my partner and our kettlebells workout group gave me a key with the word "strong." I have treasured this act of kindness and support throughout th…
