David Wygant

David Wygant (born 1962) is an internationally renowned dating coach, public speaker and author. Wygant is on the board of Patty Stanger's "Millionaire's Club", and has been viewed as inspiration for the 2005 film Hitch. 2Early life Originally from Scarsdale in New York, Wygant went to Scarsdale High School and was in their class of 1980. Wygant is currently based in Los Angeles. 2Coaching career Described by MTV as "the nation's leading dating agent", Wygant started his coaching career in Los Angeles after "having a bit of a reputation for dating women out of supermarkets and video stores". Wygant has been involved in the coaching and lifestyle community since 1997, became "full-time" in 2000. Wygant says that, during these three years, he was "trying to figure out what to do". In 2003, he was one of the first dating coaches in America, and although he has been described as a pickup artist by some, he does not agree with this categorization, saying that "I believe you just need to spend your time learning inner confidence and becoming that man that attracts people instead of relying on hocus pocus."
