Gabrielle Jeanette "Gabbie" Hanna (born February 7, 1991) is an American YouTuber, viner, actress, author, poet, comedian and singer-songwriter. 2Early life Hanna was born in New Castle, Pennsylvania and has six siblings. She graduated from the University of Pittsburgh with a degree in psychology and communications. She was a member of Sigma Sigma Sigma Sorority. 2Career 32014-2016: Vine and YouTube In 2014, she first gained recognition for her comedy on the app Vine, where she managed to accumulate just under five million followers. In 2014, she also set up her main YouTube channel, Gabbie Hanna, which became popular for her 'Storytime' videos. She soon acquired over 5 million subscribers and over 400 million views. In 2015, she competed and won season 4 of Dance Showdown with Matt Steffanina as her partner. She also set up a second channel, The Gabbie Vlogs, which has since gained over a million subscribers and 100 million views. In 2016, Vine was shut down and Hanna moved all of her attention to YouTub
