Glennon Doyle Melton

Glennon Doyle Melton (born March 20, 1976) is the author of Love Warrior (Flatiron, 2016), a #1 New York Times bestselling memoir and Oprah Book Club Pick. She is also the author of the New York Times Bestselling memoir, Carry On, Warrior (Scribner, 2012); as well as an activist and a philanthropist. She is the creator of the online community Momastery, and founder and president of Together Rising, a non-profit that has raised more than four million dollars for women and children in crisis. Her writing has been featured in Reader's Digest, Woman's Day, and Family Circle, and she has appeared on The Today Show, The Meredith Vieira Show and the #OWNSHOW. 2Early life and education Glennon Doyle Melton was born in Burke, Virginia and comes from a close family that includes one sister, Amanda Doyle.
