Tyson Fury
Tyson Luke Fury (born 12 August 1988) is a British professional boxer. He has held the Ring magazine heavyweight title since 2015, after defeating long-reigning world champion Wladimir Klitschko. In the same fight, Fury also won the unified WBA (Super), IBF, WBO, IBO and lineal titles, with the victory earning him Fighter of the Year and Upset of the Year awards by The Ring. Fury was subsequently stripped of the IBF title later that year for being unable to grant a fight against their mandatory challenger, Vyacheslav Glazkov, due to agreeing to a rematch with Klitschko. In 2016, Fury vacated the WBA, WBO, IBO, and lineal titles following an ongoing medical investigation and personal issues and two cancellations of the Klitschko rematch. In August 2016, Fury was ranked by BoxRec as the world's sixth best active boxer, pound for pound. Having initially been denied the opportunity to fight for Ireland at the Olympic Games, he was permitted to represent both Great Britain and Ireland after tracing his family lineage to relatives in Belfast and Galway. Fury has represented both England and Ireland as an amateur, winning the ABA super-heavyweight title in 2008 before turning professional later that year. He has since held the British and English heavyweight titles twice each, as well as the European, Commonwealth, and Irish heavyweight titles. 2Background Tyson Luke Fury was born and raised in Wythenshawe, Manchester, Englan
David Haye is a pussy, don’t even mention him again. Next question. Are there any more? Or are we all shot out after four actual questions?
I’m just going to stand and trade punches with him, whoever wins, wins, and who ever doesn’t, doesn’t. I’m going to lift a lot of weights, stand there and have a big slugfest with Wlad.
I used to be a fat pig. Well, I still am, but basically I only turned professional five fights ago, because before that I was out drinking, out with women of the night to all hours, then I’d come in the next day and fight 12 rounds or knock someone out.
I wanna meet him head on, 'mano el mano' in the center of the ring. Let's make it a Tommy Hearns vs Marvin Hagler type of fight.
When I've beat Deontay Wilder, I've just beat another bare bum in the shower with a pair of boxing gloves on. Just another tick on the record.
I'm doing a lot of things I didn't before. I'm eating five/six meals a day, drinking eight liters of water. I’m masturbating seven times a day, keep my testosterone pumping.
When I make my mind up on something I just do it; I don’t take no prisoners, I don’t beat around the bush, I don’t play games, I don’t play at boxing so whatever I want from boxing I take.
Boxing is about hitting your opponent and not taking any in return, that’s the way I look at boxing.
Every fight that I fight is the biggest fight of my life up until that moment. They’re all the biggest fights — all of them. My last fight, the fight before that, the fight before that — they’re all the biggest fights because I don’t look back in the past. I only look forward to the future. So every…
It means nothing to me the betting odds because I’ve defied the odds, just even being alive today I defied the odds. Being a world champion defied the odds; being named Tyson Fury defied odds too. So odds, I don’t really think about odds, they don’t mean anything to me at all. I’m not a gambling man…
