Alexander Dreymon

Alexander Dreymon (born February 7, 1983) is a German-born actor, best known for portraying Uhtred of Bebbanburg in BBC Two’s The Last Kingdom. 2Early life Dreymon was born Alexander Doetsch in Germany and grew up in France, Switzerland, Germany and the USA. He studied in Paris, then trained for three years at Drama Centre London. 2Career Dreymon appeared on stage in London and Paris before making his screen debut in the French one-off-drama Ni reprise, ni échangée, and later played alongside Doctor Who’s Matt Smith in the British movie Christopher and His Kind. [3] He then worked on several short-films features in the US as well as portraying Luke Ramsey in American Horror Story's season three, Coven.
