Just walking around today at the beach helped me realize that it’s not a bikini contest. Every body tells a different story. And it’s awesome that we’re all shaped so differently!
I used to be terrified to go to pool parties or beach gatherings. I NEVER wanted to show off my body because I never thought it was good enough. I did not like my reflection in the mirror. I’d come up with excuses like 'I’m on my period' so I could avoid having to show myself in a swimsuit. But how…
Sunrises remind me of how much potential each and every one of us has within us. We are reborn each morning to do something grand. So don’t waste your time feeling anything less than capable...because YOU ARE FULL OF POTENTIAL.
It’s a brand new week full of brand new opportunities...so instead of feeling overwhelmed, feel EMPOWERED! Rise up to every occasion and don’t be afraid to push yourself. Grow this week.
After all, what’s the point of working hard and ending up with enough money to buy the things you dream of, if you have no friends to share it with?
Everything you need is within you. Just believe in yourself. Even when nobody else does.
What you're looking for isn't out there. It's in you.
So, I’m writing this to let you know (and to remind myself) that it’s okay. It’s okay to not know. It’s okay to not feel good enough. It’s okay to be wrong. So long as you learn from it, fix it, and keep moving forward.
I know I’m only feeling this way because I’m pushing hard to grow. Growth is not easy. In many instances it’s painful because you’re moving out of your comfort zone.
I feel inadequate. I feel weak. But I’m fighting hard to change this state of mind.
Have you ever found yourself unhappy - simply complaining about everything 'wrong' with your life? I have, many times. Well listen up, here’s exactly what you need to battle the negativity. You need to practice GRATEFULNESS. Be thankful for what you DO HAVE instead of being sad for what you don’t…
But mastering the art of finding tranquility amongst the craziness of life - trying to pay the bills, please the bosses, calm the kids, excel at work, perform in school, appease the parents...it can be exhausting, but you must find YOUR wholeness by realizing your purpose. Why do you do the things…
A reminder to be resilient. NO. MATTER. WHAT. Dig yourself out of your hole and move. Just move. It’ll get better. One bad day does not = a bad life.
...don’t let anyone make you feel bad for wanting to have self control and don’t let anyone make you feel bad for wanting to let loose. Doesn’t matter. Your body, your choice.
I deserve the world so I'm going to give it to myself.
Comparing yourself to other people. It sucks. Either you’re gonna feel below someone or you’re gonna feel above someone. It’s never ACTUALLY a good, full feeling. So my advice is to stop. Just stop comparing. If you can’t be happy for someone’s success, if you can’t be inspired by someone’s…
Growth is painful. Change is painful. But nothing is as painful as staying stuck.
Fun fact: You’ve known your parents your entire life, but they’ve only known you a fraction of theirs.
hard work gets you to where you wanna be. persistence. focus. intelligence. belief. risk. NOT LUCK.
