Emily Kapnek (born March 27, 1972) is an actress, television producer and writer. She has created the animated program As Told by Ginger, the television series Emily's Reasons Why Not and the sitcoms Suburgatory and Selfie. She was a consulting producer on the television series Parks and Recreation. 2Career In 2000, Kapnek co-created the Nickelodeon series As Told by Ginger with Eryk Casemiro, Gabor Csupo, and Arlene Klasky, Kapnek also voiced the character of Noelle Sussman. In 2007, Kapnek wrote and served as a consulting producer for Aliens in America, which aired on The CW. However, it was cancelled after only one season. In 2006, Kapnek created Emily's Reasons Why Not for ABC, which starred Heather Graham, and was based on a novel of the same name. It premiered on January 9, 2006, but it was cancelled after the first episode had aired. The remaining episodes were released in May 2012, through a DVD set.
