Fear is the path to the Dark Side. Fear leads to anger. Anger leads to hate. Hate leads to suffering.

George Lucas
George Walton Lucas Jr. (born May 14, 1944) is an American filmmaker and entrepreneur. Lucas is best known as the creator of the Star Wars and Indiana Jones franchises, as well as the founder of Lucasfilm and Industrial Light & Magic. He was the chairman and CEO of Lucasfilm, before selling it to The Walt Disney Company in 2012. Upon graduating from the University of Southern California in 1967, Lucas co-founded American Zoetrope with fellow filmmaker Francis Ford Coppola. Lucas wrote and directed THX 1138 (1971), based on his earlier student short Electronic Labyrinth: THX 1138 4EB, which was a critical success but a financial failure. His next work as a writer-director was the film American Graffiti (1973), inspired by his teen years in early 1960s Modesto, California, and produced through the newly founded Lucasfilm. The film was critically and commercially successful, and received five Academy Award nominations including Best Picture. Lucas' next film, an epic space opera titled Star Wars (1977), went through a troubled production process; however, it was a surprise hit, becoming the highest-grossing film at the time, as well as a winner of six Academy Awards and a cultural phenomenon. Following the first Star Wars film, Lucas produced and co-wrote the following installments in the trilogy, The Empire Strikes Back (1980) and Return of the Jedi (1983
The Chosen One, the boy may be. Nevertheless, grave danger, I fear in his training.
May the force be with you.
Always two, there are. No more, no less. A master and an apprentice.
The shroud of the Dark Side has fallen.
The Dark Side clouds everything. Impossible to see, the future is.
Twisted by the Dark Side, young Skywalker has become. The boy you trained, gone, he is, consumed by Darth Vader.
Death is a natural part of life. Rejoice for those around you who transform into the Force. Mourn them do not. Miss them do not. Attachment leads to jealousy. The shadow of greed that is.
One day, I will become the greatest Jedi EVER. I will even learn how to stop people from dying.
Padme: To be angry is to be human. Anakin: I'm a Jedi. I can be better than this.
Anakin: When I got to them we got into aggressive negotiations. Padme: Aggressive negotiations? What's that? Anakin: Ah, well, it's negotiations with a lightsaber.
Padme: You're not all-powerful, Ani. Anakin: Well, I should be.
Pain, suffering, death I feel. Something terrible has happened. Young Skywalker is in pain. Terrible pain.
Padme: Please don't look at me like that. Anakin: Why not? Padme: Because it makes me feel uncomfortable. Anakin: Sorry, my lady.
Truly wonderful, the mind of a child is.
Padme: You're making fun of me! Anakin: Oh, no, I'd be too frightened to tease a senator!
Obi-Wan: Why do I get the feeling you're going to be the death of me? Anakin: Don't say that, master. You're the closest thing I have to a father.
Anakin: You call this a diplomatic solution? Padme: No, I call it aggressive negotiations.
Attachment is forbidden. Possession is forbidden. Compassion, which I would define as unconditional love, is essential to a Jedi's life. So you might say, that we are encouraged to love.
[last lines] Obi-Wan: I have to admit that without the clones, it would have not been a victory. Yoda: Victory? Victory you say? Master Obi-Wan, not victory. The shroud of the dark side has fallen. Begun the Clone War has.
