Thought Therapy gets you unstuck. It counteracts the challenge of thinking and feeling and the chain reaction of assuming that what we’re going through is the same as something we’ve been through before.
You'll be challenged but you don't have to be defeated by dominant negative thoughts.
Everyone, at one time or another, entertains negative thoughts. Having the thoughts isn’t the problem, what sets us back is when we pay homage to them. When we keep entertaining them they become habitual, and pattern forming.
Prayer is one of the fundamental pillars of thought therapy. It reprograms the mind about what to expect and elevates your consciousness. The ego has very few arguments that can survive the power of an earnest and heartfelt prayer.
Repetition, practice, study is how to develop muscle, stamina, and mastery. Thought therapy is geared toward developing mental muscles, emotional stamina, and the skills required to master your mind.
If you are finding yourself stuck in a way of thinking that triggers certain emotional responses ask yourself one simple question: 'What is my prayer?'
The files in your brain containing negative thoughts, feelings, and experiences are much larger than those containing positive ones. Reducing dominant negative thought files requires consistently acting, thinking, and speaking in a positive fashion.
The psychospiritual thought therapy process provides prayers and affirmations written specifically to neutralize your negative thought patterns and the emotional energy most often associated with those patterns.
What you FOCUS on grows.
Your brain can be reprogrammed—no matter how much trauma you may have endured.
By uprooting negative thoughts and beliefs and replacing them with positive affirmative thoughts, achieving whatever you desire will be possible.
No matter how many thousands of thoughts parade in your consciousness today, the power of focused intention can never be overestimated. Affirm: 'It is my intention in this moment to align my will with God’s Will.'
Your commitment to a consistent connection and awareness of the presence of the Divine in your life will result in a greater sense of peace and connection that supports all that you do in every aspect of your life.
Affirming the desired intention as if it’s already happened, affirmative prayer teaches us to program the mind about what to expect.
Your awareness of and ability to align with your Source is just one of the many benefits of a conscious, committed prayer practice.
Some of us grew up in families and environments that were dysfunctional and emotionally destructive. You may not only look like your grandmother or mother, you probably think like her. How the people around you think has a definite impact on you.
Developing a positive and productive mind-set is the most powerful way to overcome and eliminate dominant negative thought patterns.
We all have to navigate the psychological and emotional pathology we inherit from our parents and environment. Fortunately, nothing we experience eliminates our free will and our ability to choose how to respond.
With the proliferation of thoughts in your head, the goal cannot be to control every single one. That would be futile. Instead, focus on neutralizing your dominant negative thoughts and beliefs.
