Chase Stein
Victor Chase Stein (also known as Talkback), is a fictional character, a superhero appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. He was created by author Brian K. Vaughan and artist Adrian Alphona, and debuted in Runaways vol. 1 #1 with most of the other main characters. Like every member of the original Runaways, he is the son of evil villains with special abilities; in Chase's case, mad scientists. Chase is often regarded as the "wild card" in the series, due to his often changing role in the group, from being the getaway guy and technical guru to the "loose cannon" after he departed the group for a short while. However, despite his rule-breaking persona, Chase is fiercely loyal to his friends and remains a valued member of the team. Chase is the eldest of the Runaways at age 18. Chase shares a psychic and empathic link with Deinonychus Old Lace, granting him the ability to command the dinosaur to do his bidding and also possesses the Fistigons, the world's most powerful gauntlets.Chase Stein is portrayed by Gregg Sulkin in the Hulu television series Runaways which is set in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. 2Publication history Chase Stein first appeared in Runaways # 1 (July, 2003) and was created by Brian K. Vaughan and Adrian Alphona. Chase Stein appeared in Avengers Arena, written by Dennis Hopeless and illustrated by Kev Walker as well as its sequel, Avengers Undercove

Chase: I know it doesn't make any sense, but, I don't know. I was with my dad before, and what if we're missing…
Leslie: Chase, did you come here with Karolina? Chase: Waiting for her actually. But I'm going somewhere else because why would she be here, standing in line at a bar?
Alex: Chase, are you in? Chase: I'm sorry! I didn't know putting my hand in a pile was some sort of a legally binding contract. Yeah, I'm in. Who hates their dad more than me?
Chase: Why does everybody always assume Alex has a plan? Maybe someone else has a plan. Alex: Good. Go ahead. Chase: Oh. That was just hypothetically.
Chase: I didn't realize this was BYOB. Now I see why you ditched downstairs. Karolina: I needed to be alone. Chase: I'm not so sure about that. Karolina: 'Cause everyone knows what's best for me! Chase: No, because you're drinking well vodka. You could have at least swiped a bottle of the good…
